Early morning – I was woken up by Chelle, she worked at 9am and I was her drive. I had a great sleep, so while she did her hair and make up, I made her breakfast and coffee. The coffee was an amazing Guatamalan Puerta Verde, her new favourite.
After dropping her off, I came back home to tend to some work emails and website stuff. I have been trying to become good at Twitter. I started following all of my favourite local people and a slew of professional cyclists (profesional cyclists are kind of boring… too busy racing, professionally)

Sweet! Gym date!
My training partner, Jamieson, and I met up for some heavy chest weights. We both seemed to have good energy, except the weights felt heavier than usual. Hmmmm.
After the weights, we hit the treadmill. I ran uninterrupted at 5mph for 20 minutes. I could have gone longer! Normally I have to take a short walk break here and there, so this was a big accomplishment!
After throwing in the towel at the gym, I had some time to kill before picking up Chelle. Jame and I hit up Cyclesmith, a local LBS, and geeked out over their Cervelos and electric shifting Shimano groupos. I also tried on some of their XXL cycling jerseys to gauge how my weight loss is going. Still too tight, but I am definitely shrinking.
Hopefully I’ll be slim and trim enough in March when my Java Blend Racing kit arrives. I am going to be the teams biggest fan. I am going to wear that kit to work!
